RPR CIO Roundtable 2016

RPR hosted its second CIO Roundtable Conference on May 23-24, 2016 in Chicago, IL. The event was designed to engage thought leaders from across the industry and to receive input from senior staff representing as many as 15 organizations, comprised of both large independent brokerages and national franchises. Topics included an RPR progress report, product development overview, and updates on current industry initiatives, such as RPR AMP™ and the Upstream project.

The meeting also provided attendees with an opportunity for brainstorming and idea sharing, in addition to demonstrating practical information on how RPR can assist their companies to better achieve their objectives and strategic goals. Attendees were also given in depth information on RPR programs designed specifically for brokerage firms and franchises, such as the RPR Broker Tool Sets, RPR Broker AVM, newly enhanced Broker Market Data Tool, and customized training programs.

“I found the RPR presentations very valuable,” said Rod Messick, CFO of Homesale Realty Services Group, Inc. “We’ve already scheduled follow up training with our leadership team and agents to leverage the value of RPR. I have found that with nearly all conferences, the interactions with industry peers are the true highlight of the event.”

Kevin Durawa, CIO at RealtyUSA, provided RPR product managers valuable suggestions on product and enhancement, and added, “It was most useful to learn about all of the products and services RPR offers.”

Another aspect that contributed to the overall value of the conference was the diversity of the firms that were represented. Attendees included senior level staff from both large independents companies, and national franchisors, representing departments such as finance, operations/information and technology. RPR CEO Dale Ross said, “RPR was very gratified to have such a high caliber of expertise in attendance for this second conference. The more RPR’s Operations and Development staff can learn from those companies we are partnered with, the more valuable our programs can be to their agents and companies as a whole.”

Alon Chaver, CIO at HomeServices of America said, “RPR has taken a very comprehensive and long term vision to leverage its resources for the collective benefit of our industry, and I was very glad to learn about more about RPR’s approach. I would be delighted if RPR made it an annual event.”
