RPR begins 2018 with record usage

RPR reached significant milestones in February 2018. Agent usage soared to a record 170,000 unique-users over a 30-day period, a 15.5% increase over the same period in 2017. Web traffic also experienced record highs with nearly 1.3 million Google sessions reported.

RPR’s Broker Tool Sets program has also seen increased adoption. Moreover overall report generation and downloads numbers for RPR Mobile have also escalated, with downloads currently exceeding 389,102.  In addition, RPR webinar enrollments exceeded expectations for the first six weeks of 2018, with a 164% increase in attendance. The webinar lineup included newcomers such as the series, 4 Steps to Real Estate Success with RPR Mobile.

RPR’s February Product Release

On February 13, 2018, RPR released version 1.68 of the Platform. With this release, RPR added new features to the Seller’s Report and Commercial Trade Area Report, updates to neighborhood boundaries, and improved accessibility to the website. The February release also included updates to RPR Mobile, including improved functionality for comp analysis, login, Commercial tenant data, and mobile notifications. Institute Affiliates granted access to RPR Commercial

To ensure NAR Commercial members have access to research property data and listing solutions (with the closing of Xceligent and CommercialSearch.com sites) NAR has extended free access to the Realtors Property Resource® platform for all members with an Institute Affiliate membership through 2018.  These Institute Affiliate members can immediately start benefiting from RPR, by accessing:

  • Over 35 million Commercial public records: sales history, distressed details, taxes, etc.
  • Demographic and Economic Data: population growth, income data, unemployment, etc.
  • ESRI Tapestry Segmentation: consumer preferences and ancillary community data
  • Traffic Counts: mapped historic counts with projections based on growth
  • Tenant Information: Business type, contact info, time occupying a space, etc. for seven million tenants
  • Business Points of Interest: Mapped locations and details about a business

Introducing RPR Connect

In January, RPR introduced RPR Connect — a new Facebook Group. RPR Connect is an interactive forum that connects REALTORS®, Brokers/Owners, and other industry leaders who want to keep ahead of the curve. RPR Connect provides an open, professional dialogue for real estate professionals who want to share their RPR success strategies as well as those who want answers to their RPR related questions.

New national ad campaign energizes REALTORS®

Most REALTORS® we meet enjoy sharing their anecdotes of what it takes to be successful in today’s challenging market. Soon, RPR will leverage the best of those stories beginning with what we call the 5-Star Campaign. Each of the campaign’s ads will highlight a REALTOR®, along with a brief client remark, attesting as to how RPR data assisted them in making their business easier.

The campaign will appear in several different mediums, notably as a complement to the platform’s new RPR Connect group on Facebook. The campaign’s will also prompt REALTORS® to share their RPR success stories with us. Expect to hear more about RPR’s 2018 focus on storytelling in coming months.
