RPR Releases Web version 1.37/Mobile 1.4

On February 24th, 2015, RPR released version 1.37 marking RPR’s 38th major release since 2010. This update focused on multiple user-generated suggestions and enhancements across RPR’s Agent, Broker, Association and RPR Mobile feature line. Key enhancements include:

  • The ability for selected properties in RPR’s comps search to link to their full details page
  • Improvements to RPR’s Broker Service Modules, which now allows multiple modules to display as a carousel
  • RPR Local Economic Area reports for Associations offer greater geographic flexibility, including Zip codes, MCDs/Townships and Census Blocks/Tracts
  • RPR Mobile™ for Android now allows users to access their saved photos when uploading to a property record or report cover photo

RPR Executes Licensed Partnership with Greater Tulsa AOR/NORES

RPR is proud to announce the execution of a new, licensed partnership with the Greater Tulsa Association of REALTORS® and the Northeast Oklahoma Real Estate Services (NORES), in Tulsa, OK.

CEO Mike Cotrill stated, “We are excited about our agreement with RPR and look forward to our upcoming partnership.  We have closely followed the development of RPR over the past several years and have seen it evolve into a must have product for REALTORS®.  The broker tools and legislative reports are some of the best I have seen in our industry in quite some time.”

RPR offers live training classes to over 1,000 Texas REALTORS®

In January 2015, over 1,000 students in Texas attended 64 RPR classes and received Mandatory Continuing Education (MCE) credit. Classes were held in the Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, Austin and El Paso markets.

RPR began the rollout of training and communication in the expansive market in North Texas, which includes the Greater Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex, with a “marathon” of RPR classes at the MetroTex Association of REALTORS® six area service centers in late January. RPR held 40 classes, delivering both RPR Basic and Advanced classes. The classes were well attended with over 652 REALTORS® receiving MCE credit from trainings that week.

Virginia Cook-CEO of Virginia Cook Realtors said, “I have been in the real estate business for a long time and RPR is the best thing to come along in quite awhile. I’m excited that we can now take advantage of the tools that will help grow our business. This is an on point site that is absolutely helpful to every agent at NAR.”

Scott Kesner, the 2015 President of the Texas Association of REALTORS® and a member of the Greater El Paso Association of REALTORS® MLS said, “Our members in El Paso have really embraced RPR. It has provided a much-needed avenue to obtain a wealth of property information at a single location where before we had to go to a number of sites. The RPR reports really support the agent’s market knowledge to help buyers and sellers make informed decisions.”

Coldwell Banker Leverages RPR’s Broker AVM for New CBx Tablet Application

CBxColdwell Banker Real Estate, LLC announced the release of their new CBx Tablet Application designed as an exclusive iPad Application for its Sales Associates. The CBx Application utilizes “Big Data” from multiple sources such ESRI, Experian, Onboard Informatics, and RPR. RPR began collaboration with Coldwell Banker Real Estate in 2014 in order to leverage the RPR Broker AVM Widget within the CBx Application. The Coldwell Banker press release states, “In partnership with Realtors Property Resource (RPR), a wholly owned subsidiary corporation of The National Association of Realtors, CBx is the first application to pull data directly from the RPR Broker AVM to provide an estimated value for any given home. The app also allows sales associates to make price adjustments based on their knowledge of the market and the home’s amenities, such as increasing a home’s price because of a spectacular view.” Learn more about the CBx Tablet Application.

RPR Commercial Integration in Michigan

RPR Commercial Integration: A Tale of Two AssociationsRecently RE Technology completed a case study highlighting the integration with RPR between the Commercial Alliance of REALTORS® West Michigan (CARWM) operating as a commercial MLS and the Michigan Commercial Board of REALTORS® (CBOR) operating as a CIE. The two associations have come together to share their listing data. This cooperative venture benefits members of both organizations, as well as the public, by creating a statewide database of active commercial listings.

“It just made sense as both sides started growing and focusing more on technology that we use the same system,” says Nancy McKellar, Executive Vice President of CBOR and Executive Director of CPIX, the CIE operated by CBOR. McKellar says that a main motivator is how a shared system allows the organizations to send a single statewide data feed to the Michigan Economic Development Corporation for use in attracting new businesses to the recession battered state.

Nancy McKellar continues saying “RPR Commercial does it all. It’s seamless. We don’t even have to do anything. We just have to say, ‘Go to RPR and sign-in for the first time.’ So it is a huge benefit to the association overall because we just could not accomplish the same thing, yet our commercial practitioners believe that we should be accomplishing the same thing. So hands down for the commercial REALTOR®, in my mind, it’s one of the biggest benefits that we’ve seen come out of NAR.”
