CEO Update – March 2017

RPR Releases Version 1.58

Picture2On March 14, 2017, RPR® released version 1.58, marking the 59th product release since the launch of the Residential Platform in September 2010. This latest release of RPR provides numerous improvements for residential and commercial users, many focused on core RPR data sets.

In this release, data licensed from Esri has been updated to include economic, consumer spending, and demographic data, as well as local area trends. Hanley Wood home-improvement data, which powers RPR’s Refined Value Tool, has also been refreshed, along with an update and increased coverage for flood maps RPR receives from the Federal Emergency Management Association (FEMA).

The March release also delivered a few noteworthy enhancements to RPR Mobile™, including the ability to search and display Open House information. To learn the complete details of this release, visit the RPR customer support site.

Xceligent’s CommercialSearch Integrates With RPR

Picture3Earlier this month, RPR announced a new integration with Xceligent’s CommercialSearch™ product, a national marketplace promoting commercial properties available for sale or lease. With this integration, REALTORS® using CommercialSearch.com can easily transition from a listing within CommercialSearch into RPR’s extensive commercial property database. This includes trade area data, investment analysis tools, business intel, and comprehensive reports.

“We are excited to partner with Realtors Property Resource®,” said David O’Rell, managing director of CommercialSearch. “We will now be able to provide RPR account holders an exclusive opportunity to analyze local dynamics surrounding properties actively listed for lease or sale in the CommercialSearch national marketplace.“

21 Steps to a Stellar Listing Presentation

Picture4As the 2017 spring market gets moving, increasing listing inventory is key to any agent’s success. While marketing your brand and company will get the listing appointment, in order to truly compete, an agent needs a highly-refined listing presentation that reflects a superior service level and local market expertise.

RPR recently outlined a “how-to” guide for setting up a high-quality listing presentation, beginning with “Building an Online Presence,” and ending with “Delivering RPR Reports.” To learn more about optimizing RPR’s array of great listing tools, visit the RPR blog.

zipForm / RPR Integration

Picture5Through a new partnership with zipForm® , the nation’s leading online real estate forms provider, REALTORS® who use zipForm and RPR can transition between the two platforms via one simple click, providing instant access to forms and property data needed to complete a transaction.

More importantly, the integration allows REALTORS® to create new zipForm transactions using public records from RPR. The partnership is a neatly-packaged bundle of benefits that not only saves time, but also alleviates the pain points of having to use two of real estate’s most powerful platforms independent of one another.

Visit the RPR blog to learn how to maximize the integration in two minutes or less.

REALTOR® Spotlight

This month’s REALTOR® spotlight comes from Palo Alto, CA, where RPR was introduced to Kyle Else. Kyle, a REALTOR® with Keller Williams, has spent the past decade building a solid referral practice in one of the country’s hottest relocation markets: Silicon Valley.

“Directing the attention of a client’s trust in my brand to another agent is a high-risk task,” said Kyle. “I take it very seriously, and expect the referring agent to do so as well. We each represent the other and want the relationship to grow. That means we both need to service a referral to the best of our abilities by closing the deal to their advantage.”

“Whether I’m providing information to a new client or to a referring agent, I always rely on RPR’s tools and data to set the foundation for the transaction,” he said.
