October 2015 RPR Product Release

On October 27, 2015, RPR released version 1.45 marking RPR’s 46th product release since the launch of the RPR Residential application in September 2010.

school-report-ceoThe latest release of RPR introduces a newly enhanced Data Tool for Brokers, a new School Report, and RPR View™ data sharing dashboard that shows an MLS or Association who shares data with them and what type of data is shared (On-market, Off-market, Additional Information). Also in this release, distressed property information has been enhanced, including deed-sources and MLS-sourced information that appears on Property Details summary tab. RPR View™ Launches Data share Solutions for Minnesota Associations and MLSs

Last month eight Minnesota MLSs entered into a joint data share agreement, providing more than 17,600 REALTORS® with access to data from neighboring MLSs. John Mosey, Northstar President and CEO, explains that one of the reasons he chose RPR View™ to display on and off market property data to cooperating organizations was because there are no fees or contracts. John goes on to explain, “I will say that the fact RPR View™ is free, takes a lot of dialogue out of the political environment. Everybody is on the same page, focusing on the mission, rather than political or personal agendas.”

Currently, there are over 360 MLSs representing nearly 650,000 REALTORS® using RPR View™ to share Active listings with other participating MLSs nationally, and more than 430,000 REALTORS® sharing Off Market/historical listings with one or more MLSs. MLSOK, Inc. Executes Data License Agreement with RPR®

MLSOKMLSOK, Inc. announced today that it has executed a Data Content License agreement with Realtors Property Resource, LLC to license the MLSOK data to RPR’s national property database for integration to their 4,400 REALTOR® members.

Nels Petersen, 2015 MLSOK, Inc. President had this to say about the partnership “We are pleased to be a part of RPR and offer its data reporting and tools to our membership. As REALTORS® we can continue to provide our customers with the critical real estate information they need when making home buying and selling decisions.” Helen Bozman, Association Executive, adds, “We are delighted to offer this service.  Our members have expressed great interest in RPR.”

NAR Annual Convention Preview

RPR staff will be attending the NAR Convention and Expo in San Diego, California on November 11-16, 2015. RPR will be providing updates to NAR members and leadership at numerous committees and forums throughout the event.

This year, RPR will host three User Group sessions, one for Agents titled “Impress clients and close deals…anytime, anywhere, one for Brokers focused on “How to use RPR to create business value” for your brokerage, and a Commercial session titled “Be involved in economic growth”.

Additionally RPR staff will be available at Booth #1531 in the NAR Pavilion. This year RPR will also be providing information on Project Upstream. Look for the Upstream area in the RPR Booth and learn more about this innovative technology.

REALTOR® Spotlight

Claire ChesnoffThis month’s REALTOR® spotlight comes from Staten Island, NY where RPR found Claire Chesnoff, Broker/Owner of a two-office, ten-agent firm. Claire shares that RPR is her secret weapon, fueling one of her most successful strategies for earning new business is farming neighborhoods. The farming strategy that includes identifying potential neighborhoods and then sending a team of up to three agents to meet, as Chesnoff says, “belly to belly” with homeowners.

“Telephone solicitations are no longer effective,” claims Chesnoff. “And marketing pieces, such as postcards, can be valuable, but our greatest reward comes from establishing relationships in neighborhoods, by meeting people on their sidewalks and in their living rooms.”
