Broker Tool Sets and the Appraiser Tools Work Group

On April 15, 2011, the RPR development team launched version 1.5 of the RPR application to REALTORS® across the country. This combined release was the third full system launch since RPR was launched in September of last year.  As a REALTOR® benefit of NAR, the RPR system continues to add new features and enhancements based upon user feedback and RPR’s goal to expand its value proposition to all REALTOR® constituencies.  Included in this release is a new look to the RPR display which will help with both ease of navigation and the ability to co-brand both MLSs and brokers.  We have also improved the RPR reports for greater customization and enhanced the many charts available in the system.  To read the full release notes, go to:  http://rprblog.wpengine.com/product/rpr-v1-5-arrives.

Broker Tool Sets

Also in the version 1.5 release are the RPR Broker Tool Sets.  Since last August, the RPR team has been working with a group of brokers from around the country on the development of high value tools for brokers.  What we have developed is  a set of four tools which include Broker branding elements on both the RPR display and reports, Affiliated Service Support which will allow a brokerage to promote its affiliated companies such a mortgage, title, home warranty, insurance, or concierge to its agents and consumers, a Chart Service and a management access only Data Tool for use in creating company-wide trend and forecasting reports for use with marketing strategies, business management and company sales analysis.  For more information, go to: http://rprblog.wpengine.com/broker, and click on the Broker Tool Set link.  The Broker Tools will be in limited Beta release beginning in May and should be open for general release in Q3 2011.

Appraiser Tools Work Group

RPR is already working on the next set of Broker Tools for each of its REALTOR® constituents.  On April 15, 2011 RPR held its first meeting with the RPR Appraiser Work Group and began discussions on high value tools for Appraisers.  RPR would like to thank NAR Appraiser Committee Chairman Frank Gregoire for putting together a great group of REALTORS® representing NAR’s Appraisers from around the country.  We would also like to recognize Dick Koestner who has been serving on the RPR Advisory Board as the NAR Appraiser Committee’s representative since 2009.  RPR expects to launch the Appraiser Tool Sets this fall.

Realtor – Appraisers are looking forward to working with the RPR team. We believe RPR will be an awesome RESOURSE for appraisers, and the Appraiser Tool Sets will assist in providing more data, a more credible appraisal, and a step up over other appraisers.
