RPR’s 2019 Product Highlights

It’s hard to believe, but 2019 is almost in the rearview. It’s time to look back, reflect and review all the key enhancements that RPR released throughout the year.

In a focused effort to help REALTORS® “wow” their clients and close more deals, RPR launched various platform and app upgrades throughout 2019. Each one designed to position you at the center of every transaction, and to help your business grow and flourish.

In this article, we’ll look at four major additions to RPR in 2019, which allow you to now:

  • Easily access RPR’s Learning Menu, which features tips, videos and articles to help answer your questions and guide you while you’re in RPR
  • Power up your direct mail campaigns by creating RPR Mailing Labels through an advanced search; up to 2,000 labels per month
  • Reveal Qualified Opportunity Zones, a federal program with tax incentives that encourages growth and investment opportunities in economically disadvantaged areas
  • Search the additional Commercial listings now available in RPR thanks to the CREXi-Brevitas data integration partnership

The RPR Learning Menu

In early April, RPR added an educational and extremely useful navigational tab to most of its pages. The RPR Learning Menu allows users to get instant help, answers and tips with just a click. The graduation cap icon in the upper right of the nav bar opens up to reveal advice, articles and videos that can help if you get stuck or need information.

The best part? The answers and guidance help you while you’re actually on RPR, on whatever page you’re on or section you’re in. Need answers? Click the cap!

RPR Mailing Labels

Our most-requested user feature, mailing labels, was launched in early July. REALTORS® now have the ability to create farming or prospecting lists and generate up to 2,000 pre-formatted labels per month for mailings to residential or commercial property owners based on any RPR search. The easy-to-create labels are available in popular formats or users can choose to export results into a standard CSV file.

This capability was added to RPR so REALTORS® can keep their prospecting pipeline full and have the right tools to create dynamic direct mail campaigns. The new Mailing Labels feature in RPR gives users a simple way to market new listings and promote their brand.

Opportunity Zones

The month of July saw another popular launch: Qualified Opportunity Zones. It’s one of the hottest topics in real estate and something that should definitely be on every REALTOR’S® radar. Here’s the official definition:

Created in 2017 as part of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, the purpose of the federal government’s Qualified Opportunity Zone (QOZ) program is to drive economic growth through long-term investments in economically disadvantaged communities by offering tax incentives to investors.

In plain English? Opportunity Zones are areas that are ripe for redevelopment and they offer tax breaks to savvy commercial investors. They’re also pretty easy to identify if you’re an RPR user. Using the RPR Maps feature, REALTORS® can search a geographic area to display the Opportunity Zone areas that qualify.

The CREXi-Brevitas Data Integration

This year RPR Commercial got a significant listings boost by announcing data integration partnerships with both Brevitas and CREXi. RPR Commercial users now have access to an additional 350K (and growing) commercial property listings in RPR.
