Last night RPR released version 1.29 of the Realtors Property Resource® website. At the heart of the release is additional functionality to two main features: The RPR Dashboard and RPR Search.
The Local Economic Area Report, offered alongside the Federal Economic Area Report in the RPR Dashboard, summarizes the demographics, consumer behavior and economic trends in a specific area. These two reports support Association outreach on government affairs and economic development and are available to Association Staff, Governmental Affairs Directors and Federal Political Coordinators.
To enhance the Local Economic Report, RPR has added the ability for the report to be generated for a custom area, drawn by the user, that is the size of a census block group or larger. Reports can also be generated using the boundaries of state legislative districts.
In addition to the reports enhancements, improvements have been made to the Data Feeds and Market Data information in the RPR Dashboard. More information on the RPR Dashboard can be found here.
RPR Search: Search by Township and Minor Civil Division
In some parts of the country, townships and other Minor Civil Divisions (MCDs) are the primary governmental or administrative divisions of a county. MCDs include tribal reservations, assessment districts, barrios, boroughs, grants, parishes and other entities.
RPR has added the ability to search by MCDs. Simply enter the name of the MCD in the search bar, as you would enter a city or any other location, to search for properties. You can also overlay the outlines of townships and other MCDs on the map when searching.
RPR included additional improvements in last night’s release. These include:
- More information, including lot size, displayed on the Property Details page for Land listings.
- A ‘Recently Leased’ designation for Commercial properties.
- Support for “designee” NAR members to create accounts and become RPR users.
