See What’s New

October 2017

RPR is pleased to introduce a faster way to keep up to date on changes to your saved properties or listings with push notifications on the RPR app. And remember, don’t text and drive. RPR’s new Voice to Text search function allows app users to dictate a property address or area of interest in a redesigned search box. Also new this month, an integration with SMR Research adds data on more than seven million tenants to the RPR Platform.

RPR Mobile

Notifications on RPR Mobile™

Be the first to know about status, price, and estimated value changes on your saved properties or listed inventory with push notifications from RPR. Let RPR send you a message when your listing is available so that you can run your reports for the open house. Or be ready to let your client know when the price of your saved property drops. RPR’s new notification settings allow you the ability to control notification types you would like to receive, including when your report(s) have been generated. Turn on your phone’s notifications by going to Settings on your app.

Voice to Text Search

Searching for properties on the RPR app just got easier with a newly-added Voice to Text search function. Now, while on the go, just press the microphone icon found within the search text box and dictate the property’s address or area of interest.

Reports: Home Screen Shortcut

Now you can create reports right from the home screen of your app rather than having to go to the Property Details screen. Functionality differs depending on which of the three “home screens” you are viewing at the time (swipe left or right to view your RPR app home screens). When clicked from the Local Market Conditions or Market Activity screen, the app automatically selects the location and presents Market Activity and Neighborhood Report options. Users who want a report for a property can simply type in the address on the report screen or better yet: Select the microphone option and say the address.

Property Details: Location-Based School Information

RPR understands the value of school data for homebuyers and the impact it has on seller’s, which is why we added location-based school information to our Residential and Commercial Property Details. Now, users can search for other homes in a school attendance zone, get driving directions to understand proximity to schools, and generate a school report. Data sets include the school name, GreatSchools rating, grades served, address, and district. You can also toggle between listing data and location-based school data.

Comp Analysis Express Update

Now, on-the-go RPR users can start a comp analysis on the RPR website and complete the report using a mobile device or vice versa. Also, users can access previously saved comps when creating a new comp analysis.

Keyword Search Enhancements

RPR’s most powerful search field is better than ever. Users are now able to search against public records fields, which can be critical when searching for comps or a buyer’s next home. Newly added fields include zoning, pool, legal subdivision name, and land use types (property subtypes).

SMR Commercial Tenant Data

Commercial practitioners can get smart about tenants in a commercial property with the addition of tenant data from SMR Research, a provider of commercial and business data. The integration adds data on more than 7 million tenants. Tenant data, displayed on Commercial Property Details pages, includes name, suite number, move-in date, type of business, and business start date. You can also add or edit tenant information.

APN & Owner Name Search Fields Enhancements

Newly expanded APN search allows users to search by property Tax ID, helping users in markets where Tax ID is the primary reference number. Additionally, the search logic for APN/Tax ID and Owner Name fields has been updated to include all property records that start with the owner name or APN/Tax ID entered.

Property Details: Add Listing Details Section for Lease-Only Properties

Listing details are now available on Lease-Only properties. The newly added fields provide users with critical MLS listing information such as listing source, listing agreement type, showing instructions, and showing phone.

Expired Listings: Expired Flag Rules Refinement

With this latest enhancement, properties display the Recently Expired flag for 14 days after expiration, and the Expired flag for nine months before moving into Off Market.
