See What’s New at RPR: November 2016

RPR’s latest release offers a number of new improvements for both residential and commercial users, including enhancements to the platform’s Market Activity search and the ability to add notes and photos to Property Details pages for commercial properties.

Add notes & photos to Commercial properties

For commercial properties, RPR now provides a notes field and the ability to upload photos to the summary tab of the Property Details page.

Both additions are excellent features for adding important notes about commercial properties you list or sell, as well as uploading specific photos to help with marketing, showcasing specific features for potential buyers and more. You can include or exclude this added information when you create a report on the property. The graphic below gives an example of how this option works.

Market Activity search improved with new filters

You’ll now find more detailed filters when using RPR’s Market Activity search. Not only have we expanded the ability to search expired listings and price changes, you can search for sale and lease properties for a period of up to six months prior. The new search fields include:

  • Property type
  • Value range
  • Beds
  • Baths
  • Living area
  • Lot size
  • Year built

And of course if you need to make any changes on the fly once you populate your market activity search results, it’s no problem to make changes from the left-hand column as shown below:

It’s important to note that Value Range is a unique filter which searches against the List Price, the RVM (REALTOR® Valuation Model) and the AVM (Automated Valuation Model), or Sold Price, depending on the property’s status.

Powerful Keyword Search moves to a more prominent location

Find the Keyword Search feature in its new prominent location (see graphic below). And remember, you can enter up to six words or phrases to search by neighborhood, address zone and address area (MLS area), exterior styles, exterior water features, and listing and MLS subtype—all through listing data and listing descriptions (not public records). The new options are available for both Residential and Commercial applications.

Plus, keyword searching includes additional unique characters (/, &, -). For example, entering “state-of-the-art,” will display any properties with hyphens.

Also, use keyword searches to find comparable properties, including recently sold properties, within the Comp Analysis and Sales Comp Analysis workflows.

Property History displays sale price info first

Now, sale price information will be displayed first when multiple deeds are recorded on the same date.

Performance enhancements speed up website and mobile

You will now experience improved performance when using RPR, particularly when viewing Commercial Property Details pages or running a lease search. If you have experienced a sluggish or slow session in the past, we are sure you will find the new faster response time a significant improvement.

Mobile iOS users, we have also accelerated property loading when using the RPR mobile app.

RPR Mobile™

When an owner’s phone number is available with a listed property, the number is clickable, allowing the user the ability to touch and dial the seller. This option is only available when an MLS includes this information with the listing data.

Zoom in on a map within RPR Mobile to display parcel boundaries.

High definition photos are now shown by default for all properties where available (see before/after below).

You will now see an update to the living area search field and lease details within the mobile app. We have provided both screenshots below:
