Creating An RPR Page For Your Members

As the nation’s largest property database, RPR offers residential and commercial practitioners the data, tools, and reports to help them wow their clients and close more deals. Providing your members with an RPR resource page on your website gives them a leg up and distinct advantage in the hyper-competitive real estate industry.

This article will lay out the reasons your members will benefit from an RPR page, examples of how other associations are successfully doing it, and some best practice tips on easy ways you can implement one, too.

How Associations and MLSs Can Benefit From An RPR Web Page

When you post and host a dedicated RPR webpage to your website, you’re offering your members value, insight, and a tangible, actionable tool that can elevate their skills and make them a more efficient agent.

As an Association Executive, Education Director or MarCom Manager, we know you strive to give your members access to high quality, high-value tools and resources. Keeping your agents aware and in-step with anything that makes them more productive, is most likely one of your top priorities.

It could be a service, educational training, data research, tech tools, or brand-building and skill-enhancing strategies. And if you offer RPR on your association’s website, you’re giving them all of the above, rolled into one.

What Your RPR Page Should Include

When you make the decision to add a dedicated RPR page to your website, you’re investing in your member’s future successes. And RPR is dedicated to helping provide you with the links, content and digital materials you need to build it.

We provide all the resources for your web designer or team to build a robust page that gives your members everything they need to know about RPR. Be sure to visit our “Associations” section on the RPR website. Here we’ve gathered everything you need to build out an RPR page on your association’s website. Just click on either the “Resource Center” or “Media Kit” tabs to get links for:

  • Articles
  • Videos
  • Flyers
  • Training
  • Graphics
  • Case Studies
  • eBooks
  • RPR Learning Center

Also, RPR just recently added a page specifically for our widget. Now it’s easier than ever to show your members the data, tools, and reports that are available to them through RPR. With the RPR Webinar Widget embedded on your website, users can directly link to RPR training webinars, videos, eBooks and other resources.

Now, let’s take a look at how some successful local and state associations and MLSs are building RPR pages.

The Locals

The Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS® RPR web page is a textbook example of how to properly present RPR information to your members.

RPR Webinars

NVAR’s RPR page layout hits visitors right in the face with a large, “banner” style image that includes the RPR logo and calls out what it’s used for, with its “National Property Database” header.

After a couple of brief intro paragraphs, NVAR prominently displays a “What is RPR” video, a direct link to the RPR website, and a list of current RPR education classes, presented in a bold, large typeface layout with links to sign up.

The Great Falls Association of REALTORS® from Montana also does a great job of presenting info on their RPR page. Links to the RPR Learning Center, downloadable eBooks, Quick Start Guides and watch-as-you-go webinars are easy to find and click through to.

The State

The Louisiana REALTORS® RPR page features a gigantic RPR image, with an embedded link to the RPR web site.

Other sections include multiple links to the RPR Learning Center, RPR videos and a small descriptor blurb of copy about what RPR is and how it can improve your performance and marketing efforts.

The MLS

MARIS (Mid America Regional Information Systems) is an independent, association-owned and broker-driven MLS that serves as the regional MLS provider for approximately 12,000 REALTOR® members for associations in Missouri and Illinois.

The MARIS RPR page, with its effective use of white space, is a clean-looking page with tons of good information about RPR. The RPR logo really pops and the concise descriptor copy keeps users engaged and interested. Links to download RPR Mobile are also a very nice touch.

Perhaps the most impressive aspect of the MARIS RPR page, is their presentation of RPR images and videos in an easy-to-browse carousel format.

Adding an RPR section to your Association or MLS website gives your members a one-stop-shopping resource and easy access to all the advantages RPR has to offer.
