RPR’s focus on schools let’s the user do up-to-date research on school ratings and test scores, locate nearby home listings to a particular school, and almost instantly create high quality property reports for their clients. RPR enables agents to search for schools within 5 miles of a location; by city/state, school, or district name; and even by type of school (elementary, middle, high school, and private schools).

Neighborhoods & Schools

In this video we’ll explore how to find the right neighborhood and school district for your buyers. So many qualities factor in to the “perfect place” – from the local quality of life to the school district. RPR helps provide a full the background information needed to truly understand local areas and schools.

Let’s start by finding the right neighborhood…

Search via the main search bar, click in from any sidebar on a property details page, or click the last tab on a property details page to go the neighborhood details of that specific property.

There are five tabs on Neighborhood Details pages.

The Summary Tab offers an overview of the area including housing and population information. Find your Median Estimated Home Value, Median Sales Price and Median Listing Volume here.

The Housing tab highlights the neighborhood’s housing characteristics compared to the county, state and nation, including comparisons for home ownership, rent, and information about permits and buildings.

The People tab gets to the heart of who lives in the neighborhood and whether those demographics are a good fit for your client.

The Economy tab displays data such as job growth, unemployment rate and cost of living.

and the Quality of life tab displays data, such as weather, commute times, transportation options, and water quality.

RPR’s neighborhood data can be used to evaluate a target neighborhood and search for the right area for your clients. Get a feel for the trends in a particular neighborhood by examining the data and charts presented.

When done, navigate to the Reports tab and choose Neighborhood Report.

Outside of pinpointing the perfect neighborhood, one of the single most important factors in buying a home can be the school district. Test scores, community reviews, and enrollment data help REALTORS® quickly drill down to schools best suited to client needs and expectations.

Search directly for a school from the main search bar, but you can also find nearby schools from the property details sidebar. Scroll down to the bottom right hand side. Here you’ll see a list of schools in the area.

The Summary tab of the School page gives basic information from Niche such as the school’s address, grades served, enrollment, standardized test scores and the school’s grade rating, as well as the average rating for schools in the area. You can also link to active listings near the school.

The Reviews tab displays community reviews for the school, which are also provided by Niche.

When ready, choose the blue Create a Report button to print out your school report.

Now you have the information you need to help your client find the perfect place.
