In January over 1,000 students in Texas attended 64 RPR classes and received Continuing Education (CE) credit. Classes were held in the Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, Austin and El Paso markets.
Following the successful launch of the North Texas Real Estate Information Service (NTREIS) with integrated MLS data in the RPR Platform, RPR began the rollout of training and communication in the expansive market in North Texas, which includes the Greater Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex. RPR staff started with a “marathon” of RPR classes at the MetroTex Association of REALTORS® six area service centers during the week of January 26th. RPR held 40 classes, delivering both RPR Basic and Advanced MCE classes. The classes were well attended with over 652 receiving MCE credit from trainings that week.
Agents and brokers were excited to see how they could immediately put the RPR tools to work in their business. Many shared that they were glad they had attended the RPR class before going to an upcoming listing appointment. Others were looking forward to using RPR for their market analysis and upcoming pricing discussions with clients. Virginia Cook-CEO of Virginia Cook Realtors said, “I have been in the real estate business for a long time and RPR is the best thing to come along in quite awhile. I’m excited that we can now take advantage of the tools that will help grow our business. This is an on point site that is absolutely helpful to every agent at NAR. Thank you, Dale Ross for this wonderful tool.”
The new RPR Mobile™ was a big hit, as the students learned how to take the powerful RPR information anywhere using RPR Mobile™ on their smartphone. RPR classes will continue to be offered, in the North Texas area, with classes already scheduled at the Greater Fort Worth Association of REALTORS® and plans are in the works at the Collin County Association of REALTORS® and many of the other 15 shareholder associations in the NTREIS MLS market.
RPR was also very busy in January in the El Paso,Texas market with training after their successful MLS data integration to RPR. “RPR conducted CE classes in El Paso in January 2015 and the feedback from our members has been great! Over 100 REALTORS(R) members attended the sessions and the positive feedback and interest is spreading. From the RPR reports to the new Mobile app, they just simply LOVE it!” according to Jason Sanchez, Director of MLS and Technology with the Greater El Paso Association of REALTORS®.
Scott Kesner, the 2015 President of the Texas Association of REALTORS® and a member of the Greater El Paso Association of REALTORS® MLS said, “Our members in El Paso have really embraced RPR. It has provided a much needed avenue to obtain a wealth of property information at a single location where before we had to go to a number of sites. The RPR reports really support the agent’s market knowledge to help buyers and sellers make informed decisions.”
