Can I search for distressed properties?

Whether you are looking to list a distressed property or help a client purchase one, you can search for distressed properties from the Home page.

  • Enter a location in the search bar, then open the Type/Status filter and choose For Sale or Public Record.

  • Select More Filters to open the advanced filters. Scroll down to the Current Distressed Status section and choose Pre-foreclosure, Foreclosure, and/or Foreclosed.

  • Enter a time-frame in the fields provided or click the calendar and choose  This Month, Last 30 Days, Last 3 Months, Last 6 Months, or Last 12 Months.

Frequently Asked Questions

Pre-foreclosure properties have been issued a recorded Notice of Default or Notice of Lis Pendens. A property could also be listed with an MLS as a short sale.

Foreclosure properties have been issued a Notice of Trustee Sale.

Foreclosed properties have been reclaimed by the lender or creditor via a recorded Foreclosure Deed or Sheriff’s Deed.
