What is Daniel’s Law (New Jersey)?

Daniel’s Law is a New Jersey law that prohibits disclosure of the residential addresses of certain persons covered by the Law on websites controlled by state, county, and local government agencies. Since RPR receives public record data from counties within New Jersey, addresses of “Covered Persons” may be absent from RPR.

“Covered Persons” includes former, active, and retired judicial officers, prosecutors, and members of law enforcement and their immediate family members residing in the same household.
