What are Beta Report Templates?

RPR Templates and My Templates (templates you have created) are the first step in creating a Next Generation Report (RPR’s newest reports!)

RPR Templates are a starting point that lets you create and share custom-built reports made to fit each client. RPR Templates are designed for popular scenarios, like a buyer wanting facts about a property, its neighborhood and local schools. Or a client looking to list their property is interested in the value of their home, market trends and a pricing strategy.

Customized templates allow you to mix and match report elements to create unique reports for a variety of situations. For example, you could create templates for a First Time Home Buyer, CMA Report, Listing Presentation, or an Open House.

How to Create or Change a Template

Choose a Template

Begin by accessing the Beta Report Templates from the Property Details pages, the Reports tab, the legacy Report generation page, or the Templates tab.

The first time you select an RPR Template, you will see a page with a brief description of the template and a sample report showing the default content.Click the arrow to page through a sample report. If you decide to use the template, click the Use this Template button to continue.

Customize & Preview

Once you choose a template, you will land on the Report Editor-here you will select the information you want in your template. You can add or subtract data, photos, charts, etc. and also customize your cover page, reorder sections, upload your own pages, and more!

The Report Preview will reflect changes in real-time as items are added, removed, or moved allowing you to review the template before saving.

The Customize menu shows each section that can be included in a report. Beside each is a number range that tells how many options are available within that section and how many have been selected (some are selected by default)—for example, 3/5.

  • Click the downward arrow to expand a section.

  • Click an item to add or remove it from the report.

  • Grab the six dots on the left to move sections or items within a section to change the order.

  • Click “Reset” to reset to the default selections.

Save

Once you are finished customizing your template, click the Save as Template button then choose from these two options:

  • New Template: “Save Selections as New Template”

  • Change a My Template: “Save Changes to Template”

Templates Tab

You can find both the RPR Templates and the templates you have created on the My Templates page which you can access from the Reports tab, Property Details pages, legacy Reports page, and the new Report Editor.
