The first three templates we have launched are geared toward popular scenarios, such as buyer clients needing information about a property, the surrounding neighborhood, and schools. While, a client looking to list their property is more interested in the value of their home and market trends in the area. Most of all, RPR Templates are a starting point that lets you customize your report to meet each client’s needs.

My Templates are templates you have created by customizing an RPR Template or templates you have previously created. Creating your own customized templates allows you to mix and match report elements to create unique reports for a variety of situations. For example, you could create templates for a First Time Home Buyer, CMA Report, Listing Presentation, or an Open House. Custom templates let you quickly create reports to fit each client’s needs.

Yes, to create a Next Gen Report you must start with an RPR Template or a My Template (a template you previously created by customizing an RPR template.)

You can find the templates you have created in the My Templates page which you can access from the Reports tab, Property Details pages, and the new Report Editor.

The initial Beta phase offers three templates: Buyer, Seller, and Property Single (commercial). Additional templates like Market Activity, Trade Area, Neighborhood, School, and more will be introduced in the coming months.

A template is a reusable format used to create your report. A report is the finished product.

You can save up to 20 templates at a time.

Templates do not expire.

No, templates do not save any property-specific data or location details. They only store the selected sections and layout preferences that you chose when creating the template.

Additional templates like Market Activity, Trade Area, Neighborhood, School, and more will be introduced in the coming months.

Nothing in the Fair Housing Act limits buyers’ choices of where they want to live. On the contrary, the Fair Housing Act protects the buyer’s ability to choose housing and prohibits certain actions by sellers, real estate agents, and others who might otherwise limit that choice. This raises the question of what an agent can do to accommodate a buyer’s preferences. Nowhere is this more of an issue than when the question of schools comes up during the homebuyer search.

Discussions about schools can raise questions about steering if there is a correlation between the quality of the schools and neighborhood racial composition–or if characterizations such as “a school with low test scores” or “a community with declining schools” become code words for racial or other differences in the community. Similarly, making unspoken distinctions by promoting a school in one district while keeping silent about the quality of another school can have the same effect. These become fair housing issues.
