RPR App: How do I search in the app?

Search is the first page you see when you sign in to RPR and can also be accessed in the navigation bar.

  • Search within a neighborhood, school attendance zone, zip code, city, county, custom-drawn area, and more.

  • Find on and off-market listings, public record data, and distressed properties.

  • Search by owner name or APN/Tax ID and find upcoming open houses.

  • Filter by time owned, occupancy, price to estimated value, and more.

  • Click + More to search within a distance, see traffic and school data, apply parcel boundaries, and more.

Zoom Level

The default zoom level is set by your choice in “set nearby to” shown in Menu > User Settings.

Search Results

Up to 500 map pins will be displayed in your search results.

Tapping into the search bar brings up a menu that allows you to switch between Residential or Commercial modes, select from your Recent Searches, or search for properties by owner name, upcoming open houses, or in distressed status.

Typing within the search bar activates auto-suggest, allows searching by Listing ID or APN/Tax ID, and offers the Residential/Commercial mode options.

Filters

Tap Filters at the top of the page and filter your search results by Property Types, Listing Statuses, Price, Distressed Statuses, Occupancy Type, Time Owned, and more.

List View

Tap List View to see your search results in a list that includes a preview of each property with property photos, status, price, address, and basic facts.

Draw

  • Tap Draw  – the word Drawing will show at the top of the map to indicate you are in Draw mode.

  • Touch the screen and draw a shape. Be sure to close your shape.

  • The drawn area will display its boundaries in purple, and the map pins will populate within the shape.

Sort

Tap Sort to sort by Price, Property Type, Days in RPR, Proximity, Status, and more.

Yes, to search by a parcel number or tax ID, begin typing the number in the search bar, then select APN/Tax ID from the menu that will appear below the search bar.
