How do I run a School Search?

Click the Research tab from any page of the website, then select School Search from the menu. Choose either Geography or School District, from the Type drop-down (to the left of the search bar).  Enter an area (geography) or school district in the search bar. To search for a specific school enter the School Name. Select a School Type from the drop-down. Click the search button.

Step 1

Research tab

Click the Research tab from any page of the website, then select School Search from the menu.

Search

  • Choose either Geography or School District, from the Type drop-down (to the left of the search bar).

  •  Enter an area (geography) or school district in the search bar.

  • If you would like to search for a specific school, enter the school name in the School Name field. 

  • Choose a School Type from the drop-down to filter by school level. Click the search button. 

Step 2

Search Results

The search results will show the school name, rating, level, address, and phone number, along with links to create a report or view nearby listings.

Click a school name to open the School Summary.

School Summary

  • The School Summary will show enrollment data, test scores, and teacher/student ratios.

  • The side panel displays a map showing the school’s location, nearby listings, zip code metrics, and nearby schools. 

  • Click the Reviews tab to see Community Reviews.
