Three exciting new features come to the RPR app

Like Realtors®, RPR’s app is on the move. Exciting new features have been added to an already robust line-up of available tools. This time, we bring you three adaptations that are certain to make your on-the-go experience more productive and downright easier.

And if you haven’t already done so, download the free RPR app today. It’s an unparalleled platform of property and market data, as well as a reporting tool that allows you to create and send customized client-friendly reports … anytime, anywhere.

1- Search by Voice

Voice-to-text transcription services for Android and iOS have become more reliable and accurate, making those mobile device keyboards that much more appealing for users who want to quickly recite search by voice commands.

Now, RPR makes it easier for Realtors® on the go by introducing voice-to-text search capability on its app. Look for the microphone icon on your device’s keyboard then simply tap and talk. Try speaking a property address or geographic area. This new feature is available for both Android and iOS.

2 – Generate Reports Quickly

The next time you need to quickly create an RPR report, like for an open house or when working with a buyer, try the Reports button located in the lower left corner of the RPR app’s home screen.

After tapping Reports, type or speak an address, city or zip. Then tap Search and the available reports will appear. Tap on the name of the report you want, then customize and deliver!

3 – Comp Analysis Express

Agents often joke that all they need to do to generate business is plan their next vacation. But the reality is you never know where or when your next deal will come in. So being prepared with the right tools to impress prospects anytime, anywhere has become of paramount importance. That’s where RPR’s new Comp Analysis Express comes in. REALTORS® can use their mobile device to build a CMA, then create and share a client-friendly Seller’s report. Best of all, if comps have been selected on the website, they can be viewed on mobile and vice versa.

Hi Daniel, I think RPR has been a complete waste of Realtor money and a disaster. It makes no sense to me. What is it you like about it?

Hi David, better question yet, what don’t you like about it??? You sound like POTUS a bit… let’s keep it positive and factual.

I like getting instant access to mostly accurate information. The mortgage information is often available. They have comps, photos. I like the heat maps. The reports are very full of information. When I send it to potential clients, they are often thrilled to see all the details I found through the RPR.

I really enjoy RPR and agree with the positive statements.

How about connecting the RPR app with ShowingTime for easy showing appointment scheduling? That would be an actual useful feature. These updates mean very little to me.

Hi Patrick – Thanks for the feedback. I’ll pass it along.

Thanks! The one killer feature that I want is to be able to type in a specific neighborhood (not a zip, not a street, etc.) and see all of the homes right there for sale. Imagine I’m doing an open house and a potential buyer walks in and says, “I love the neighborhood but this home isn’t for me.” I want to be able to instantly send them a report and say, “Let me show you everything in Island Walk that fits your budget.”

You actually can do this. Just type “Neighborhood, City, State”
Also, if you’re already in the neighborhood and location is turned on, it automatically locates you and finds nearby homes for sale. It’s right there on the home page of the app. If you go into the search filter and add the neighborhood name to “keywords” it will narrow down the search to the boundaries of the neighborhood/subdivision.

Also, you can create a neighborhood by typing “neighborhood name IN city, state” into the reports tab of the app and choosing neighborhood report.

Perhaps learn what an app does before you complain about what it doesn’t do. RPR is legit!!!!

Thank you, Ryan. It works and will make my life easier :)

Hi Christopher – Did you know you can do this? Using the RPR website visit the Map, use the Geographies dropdown to overlay the Intermediate Neighborhoods and give a try. Click on the neighborhood(s) you want and then search for properties.

Also from the mobile app try entering the known neighborhood geography name with your city and state. You would be surprised how many Neighborhood boundaries RPR know about.

Does RPR provide a way to download a list of home owner names and addresses for farming purposes, once a farm area has been defined?

    • Reggie Nicolay November 15, 2017 at 9:49 am - Reply

Hi Luis – You can’t mass download from RPR. However you can use RPR or the mobile app to identify the homeowner name.

I love RPR and use both the desktop & app every day.

Love the new features! I use RPR exclusively for my CMA reports and sometimes it would be nice while in field to pull data on a property especially where multiple offers are anticipated!

I really like RPR. Such a quick tool that is much more impressive than the wimpy “Zestimate”> Love the stuff. Thank you!!

I like RPR, but I think if there was a feature to schedule a showing on there it would even be better! If you are on the go, you need to schedule the viewing asap. Instead you have to call the agent and hope they are available.

    Thank you!

Can we ever get to auto CMAs sent out on a reoccurring basis for a client? Kind of like TPs Market Snapshot?

It would be great if you could run reports for a certain date range and not be stuck doing reports for 30 days, 6 months, etc

I like the information RPR provides, but the presentation for prospects I find lacking. I’ve been seeking an digital CMA Platform comparable to MOXI. Unfortunately I am not finding anything where I can customize backgrounds, fonts and content. In an industry which is focused on advertising and outreach, I believe it is important to differentiate your self and your brand from others. I do not find RPR is a product I can create a strong differentiation with. I also like the IPAD presentations available through MOXI and CloudCMA. They both offer presentations which appear technologically advanced with real-time comp information and accessibility. MOXI is no longer available to single agents, only a package product to brokers. CloudCMA is not available through my MLS. Hopefully we will see RPR continue to advance and become a more customizable tool in the future.
