The RPR development team is constantly striving to provide its users with a best-in-class product. With that goal in mind, we are also continually improving efficiencies and capabilities through strategic relationships with our data and MLS partners.
Our recent integration and collaboration with the ABoR, CoreLogic’s Matrix MLS system, and Niche school data, is a perfect example. ABoR members can now directly access RPR via their MLS through a new deep links effort.
It all started when the Austin Board of REALTORS® approached RPR with a technical question about making it easier for their members to directly access RPR’s school info and stats, instead of using an outside source for the same information.
Emily Chenevert, ABoR’s CEO, sums it up by saying, “Before the RPR, CoreLogic, Niche integration, our REALTOR® members had to manually look up school information on a third party site. The new deep links enhance efficiency and ensure a seamless transition from their MLS system into RPR to view school data.”
RPR was able to work closely with both Niche and CoreLogic to obtain nationally standardized school identifiers and use those identifiers to build the technology which takes a user from viewing a listing in the CoreLogic Matrix system directly into the Niche school information in RPR, aka, a “deep link.”
Deep links are simply hyperlinks found on the Internet or apps, that allow users to drill down directly into specific information. Found within all sorts of digital content and applications, these links let users save time by skipping a site’s homepage or other unnecessary steps.
As it relates to RPR usage, deep linking allows an MLS, CIE or Broker product to link directly to a “deep” interior page of RPR. This deep linking technology can be used in both Commercial and Residential mode, with branding (an RPR feature that lets CIEs/MLSs/Brokerage firms customize RPR with their own logo) and with Single Sign-On (SSO).
Deep linking provides a more streamlined workflow for the agent and broker, enabling them to work much more efficiently by bringing multiple platforms together.
And it’s getting results: in February 2019, RPR had 9,576 links from the ABoR MLS directly into RPR, with 2,425 going directly to the Niche School pages. That is a 100% increase in deep links from ACTRIS to RPR compared to any month in 2018.
ABoR’s innovative integration is part of RPR’s ongoing collaboration with CoreLogic, with a focus on market-level implementations of RPR deep-links as Matrix 360 is launched in multiple CoreLogic MLS markets in 2019.
